Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Doc-Scribe.ai (the "Service"), provided by AmberSoft ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
Access to the Service requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for every activity performed under your account. Notify support@doc-scribe.ai immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or that infringes on others' rights.
- Upload malware, viruses, or content designed to disrupt the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security, rate-limiting, or authentication features.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or process personal data without a lawful basis.
- Automate access to the Service beyond documented API rate limits.
3. Your content
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the documents and data you upload or connect to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide the Service to you.
You represent that you have the right to upload, connect, and process Customer Content, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.
4. Third-party integrations
The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, Google Drive via Google's OAuth 2.0 API). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the third party's terms and privacy policy. We handle data received from third-party APIs in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable provider's user-data policy.
5. AI-generated output
The Service includes AI-assisted features (search, summarization, extraction) that generate output based on your documents. Output may contain errors, omissions, or confabulations. You are responsible for verifying accuracy before relying on any AI-generated output for decisions with legal, financial, or safety consequences.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur. We are not liable for damages resulting from downtime.
7. Fees
If your plan includes fees, you agree to pay them as agreed with your organization's administrator or per the pricing communicated to you. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or non-payment. On termination we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable retention window, described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AmberSoft is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law of your residence applies.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email to your tenant's administrator. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
